Recommended Equipment

This is a suggested list of equipment to bring for the game.

Mandatory (without this you won’t be allowed to play):

  • Orange death rag to be worn on your head.
  • The appropriate headgear for your faction so you can be identified.
  • Eye protection, which should be comfortable enough to sleep in, if you plan on sleeping in-game.

Camping Gear:

  • Tent
  • Sleeping bag
  • Ground mat
  • Torch

Clothing:

  • Temperate camouflage recommended (the game area is mostly woodland).
  • Sturdy footwear such as water proof ankle length boots.
  • Waterproofs.

Food and Drink:

  • Have a way to carry water with you. Plan for 2-3 litres of water per day, and more if it is warm or you are exercising a lot.
  • 2 lunches, 1 breakfast, 1 dinner. There will be a burger van on site on Saturday night.
  • Snacks.
  • Open fires or barbques are not allowed in the game area, but small camping stoves are fine.

Game Equipment:

  • Airsoft gun with MidCap magazines and sufficient charged batteries for 2 days gaming.
  • Biodegradable BBs are required for all games in Bellurgan.
  • PMR radio.
  • Spare everything!
  • Watch.
  • Note pad and pencil.

Recommended:

  • Compass or GPS if you have one.
  • Binoculars.
  • Full change of clothes.
  • Full change of clothes.
  • Money for barbecue and the Airsoft shop.

We will make other recommendations in the run up to the game.

The banned list:

There are some things that we prohibit from the site. Possession of them will probably get you kicked out of the game, and use definitely will:

  • Blue or green lasers, or red lasers of over 5mW in power.
  • Real or dummy knives (bayonets or hunting knives).
  • Pyrotechnics of any sort.
  • Alcohol or non prescription drugs.
  • Open fires.
  • Banjos.
